Cast Your Cares on the Lord

The burden of the past is too heavy to carry. Jesus is the solution. Take all your past burdens put them in  a prayer bag and hand it to Jesus. Now live in the present moment and bask in his love and forgiveness. Whom the son set free is free indeed. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

God is On Your Side

Are you feeling down and if the world is against you? Well that is just a feeling.
I have good news for you today. If God is for you no one can be against you.

Place your trust in him today and you can rest assured that all is well.

When you are down to nothing, God is up to something.
With God nothing is impossible. The word impossible spells,
I'm Possible. You are a possibility. Rise up and speak the word of God that is relevant to your situation. God's words will never return to him void. There is power in his words if you believe.

Quite often we become impatient and take things into our hands instead of waiting on God.
Because of loneliness, grief, financial lack etc, we quickly get back in the dating game. We think that another person can heal our wounds or take care of us.

There are many benefits that we can receive from God by simple waiting before rushing into a relationship after the death of our spouse.

Is 40:31 They that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

WISDOM
How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For its profit is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine gold. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast. (NAS, Proverbs 3:13-18)

When you wait on the Lord you receive wisdom. It takes time to heal. As you wait for your healing, you will become a whole person. You learn to identify red flags. Because you are not needy you will most likely attract the right person. As you wait also you will gain knowledge from many sources on how to survive.

ANSWERED PRAYER
I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined unto me and heard my cry.Ps.40:1

If you wait on the the Lord , He will answer your prayers. He will answer your prayers according to His will. Rest in the Lord. Accept your single status and enjoy it too!

INTUITION
Lead me in thy truth and teach me: for though art my salvation:on thee do I wait all day.
Ps.25:5


When you wait patiently on the Lord ,He gives you an inner sixth sense. He makes you aware when something is not right. You will focus better and have a clearer mind. Because you are not in a hurry , you can identify red flags. It is during this waiting period that you understand God's plan for you. God's plan might be singleness for now or the future. Only you can know this from the peace He gives you during your waiting period. If it is, His plan ,for you to remarry, rest assured that He will send His perfect choice for you...and you will know it! The Holy spirit will reveal it to you.

TENACITY/Trust /Timing

As you wait on the Lord he will give  you strength. You will become stronger in Him. You will start falling in love with Him. You are no longer needy. You are now whole. He is now your husband, your provider, your all in all. You are now whole and ready to share your life with another whole person if that is God's plan.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.. Prov.2:5-7

Timing...There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the sun. Eccl.3;1


WHAT YOU SHOULD DO DURING YOUR WAITING PERIOD
1. Rest in the Lord. Spend time worshiping Him through praying, singing and bible reading.

2. Attend church and get plugged in a group that you are really interested in.

3. Start a new hobby.

4. Journal...each day write the way you feel..you might produce a book!

5. Volunteer

6. Get a pet

7. Join a club

8. Teach a class

9. Be a mentor

10. Learn a new language

11. Be an intercessor..pray for other widows and singles

12. Draw close to God and allow Him to be your husband..Is.54:4-5

God is interested in your finances. he wants to bless you. He wants to increase your bank  account. He wants to bless your business.  Do your part and claim his promises.

The bible is speaking about two kinds of persons here.
One needs something and asks not. The other needs something and asks, but asks with doubt.

For us to receive from God we must ask in faith.
What do you need from God today? healing?, finances?, restored relationship?,employment?

It really does not matter what you need. What ever your situation is to day get down on your knees. Cry out to your father. After you have done that stand up, raise both hands and rejoice . Thank Him for the answer. Do not try to figure out how He is going to do it. Just trust him.

Let us pray
Heavenly father we pray that you will meet our needs according to your riches in glory. Amen. Thank you God for meeting our needs . Amen

How to get your prayers answered. Hold fast to God words.

The word of God is more powerful than any circumstances that you might be facing right now.


Find relevant scriptures that relate to them.. Read them . Meditate on them. Believe what the word of God says and expect a miracle.

Let the weak say,I am strong.
Let the sick say, I am healed.
Let the poor say, I am rich.

The Enemy Shall Not Rise a Second Time




The Lord is good, a refuge on the day of distress; He takes care of those who have recourse to him. When the flood rages; He makes an end of his opponents, and his enemies he pursues with darkness. What are you imputing to the Lord? It is he who will make an end! The enemy shall not rise a second time. As when a tangle of thorn bushes is set aflame, like a dry stubble, they shall be utterly consumed.
Nahum 1:7-10

What powerful words we have from the Lord. If you have stumbled upon this blog it is for a reason. God is about to deliver you from your negative situation. There is nothing too hard for God to do. Read the above scripture passage. meditate on it. Write it on  paper and post it several  places in your home.

God Will Not Give You More Than You Can Bear
God will not give you more than you can bear. Plea your case!
Ezekiel 4:12-17
And thou shalt bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.
Verse 14
Then said I. Ah Lord God, behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces, neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
Verse 15
Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare they bread thee with.


What a mighty God we serve! He will not give us more than we can bear. Has God given you a task to do that seems too heavy? Today He is saying, "plea your case".
It's okay to plea your case.

Jesus the son of God pleaded His case.
Twice before His trial He asked God to take away the cup if it were possible.
Matthew 26:39,42
God could have taken the cup away but there was no substitute. Only through the shedding of His blood could mankind be saved.

God answered Ezekiel's plea because there was a substitute for human dung.

Are you burden with a task to day? Does this task seem too heavy for you to bear?

Like Ezekiel and Jesus cry out to God.

Remember: God will not give you more than you can bear.

What Do You Want The Lord To Do For You?

Luke 8:41

Jesus asked the blind man,"What do you want me to do for you?"
Today He is asking you the same question.

How are you praying?

Are you praying generally? Or are you praying specifically?
Jesus wants you to tell Him exactly what you need.

Jesus knew what the blind man wanted yet He asked him what he wanted.
As you pray today be specific. Give God the detail of your request.
God is faithful. Like the blind man who received his sight you too will receive the answer to your prayers as you pray specifically.

What are your needs today?

Come boldly to the throne of grace and let your requests be made known to God our father in Jesus name. Pour out your concerns. Cast your burdens on Him for he cares for you.
Once you have done that, do not take up your burdens and carry them .

God's Delay Is Not God's Denial
Have you been praying for a long time and it seems that God is some where out there answering everybody's else prayers. Here is a word from God to you.

Zacharias and Elizabeth were God's servants. Elizabeth was barren. I am sure she felt very sad when she looked at the smiling faces of moms and dads as they played, talked and fellowshipped with their children. Right now, at this moment, what is it that others have that you wish you had. Single men and women do you need a partner? Barren women do you need a child? Pastors do you need funds for the ministry?

Did Zacharias and his wife get angry with God and leave the ministry? Some of you Pastors have been praying for a long time and are now ready to give up. God is saying to you today. Hold on. My delay is not my denial.

As these servants of God continued to pray and to do service for the Lord, one wonderful day an angel appeared to Zacharias with the good news that his wife was going to have a baby. Stay with me for a while here. Some one is about to get his/his break through. If this is you, start praising God Now.

As I pondered this in my heart. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that God's delay was for a reason. He could have answered them the very moment that they prayed. But no, He had a bigger plan than what they wanted. He had John the fore runner of His Son before the foundation of the world waiting to be manifested at His appointed time.

As a child of God, He has a bigger plan than you are expecting. Wait on Him in Praise and worship and it will be manifested in His appointed time.

But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed...He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done. Daniel 6:10

Today as I sat in the intercessor room at my church the Lord gave me a word for His People. Please allow Him to minister to you. As a faithful child of God who has been praying daily, giving of your tithes and offering, ministering to others, loving the Lord with all your soul body and mind, He is saying to you today: It does not matter what the situation is, it is well!
Your doctor might have given you a bad report..it is well
Your marriage might be on the rocks..it is well
You children might be rebellious.....it is well
You husband or wife might be planing to leave you...it is well
The members of your church whom you have loved and ministered to might have back stabbed you...it is well
Financially it might appear dismal.....it is well
It does not matter what your present situation is, continue to pray as you  have always have been doing.
God did deliver Daniel from the lions' den...And he will deliver you too.
Consider what might have happended if Daniel had stopped praying when he learned that the law had been passed.
